AMERICAN 'PLANES
PURCHASE BY MEXICANS FOR SPAIN (Received January 2, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, January 1. The Mexico City correspondent of the "New York Times" states that American aeroplanes, notably bombers, are being purchased by Mexican interests, which in turn arc reselling them to the Spanish loyalist Embassy here. Four such aeroplanes have been flown directly from the United States to Vera Cruz in the past few days and shipped to Spain.
