ANIMAL HEADS ON HATS!
Animal heads trim new smart hats, and this autumn you may meet women surmounted by fox masks, beady eyes, and all (says a London correspondent). Heads perch on the crown of a black felt very often. A raWike head nestles on a background of seal musquash fur, however. The fancy pocket is multiplying, and we now have, besides the applique gauntlet glove, with fingers, pockets that are little handbags, with metal fastenings and others that are little parasols that open and shut. Brown leather purse patch pockets trim the short basque of a smart beige woollen suit. Black kid belts have the dial of a clock keeping time to buckle them together.
