(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, December .31. There were 77 more marriages, 73 more deaths, and 32 more births this year than last, according to returns compiled by the district registrar today. Births for the quarter just ended were exactly the same as in the last quarter of last year, 363. Full returns for December; last year's figures being given in parentheses, are:—Births, 124 (105); deaths, 78 (80); marriages, 150 (138). Quarter year: Births 363 (363); deaths, 232 (247); marriages, 309 (278). Full year: Births, 1348 (1314)j deaths, 1012 (927); marriages, 89Z (813).
