AMBULANCE IN SMASH
INJURED PATIENT THROWN TO FLOOR (By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post.") NEW PLYMOUTH. This Day. A woman who was suffering from a fractured pelvis was thrown to the floor of a New Plymouth Hospital ambulance when it was involved in a collision with a car yesterday afternoon. The woman was being rushed to hospital as an urgent case when the collision occurred with a car hauling a trailer at an intersection in the centime of the town. The car was driven by N. J. Humphrey, of Palmerston North. Whether the woman was further injured by thf fall the hospital authorities are unable to say.
