MISSING 'PLANES
SEARCHES IN U.S.A
SALT LAKE CITY, December 19,
While the. search continues for the aeroplane that has been missing for several days, a second aeroplane with a crew but no passengers is reported missing. It was last heard from 24 hours ago, and it is believed to be down in Northern Idaho.
A cable 'dated December 16 stated that hope had been abandoned for seven persons, passengers and crew of the Western Air Express, which was believed to have crashed in the Utah Mountains 36 hours previously. The aeroplane was believed to have come down only 50 miles from Salt. Lake City, but search had been unavailing.
