TREMENDOUS SEAS
SHIP BADLY DAMAGED
LONDON, December 19,
The bridge-deck and cabin of .the steamer Nohata. bound from Melbourne to Limerick, were wrecked by tremendous seas. Other parts of the vessel were seriously damaged. Most Of the ship's papers were lost.
The vessel has arrived at the River Shannon. The cargo is believed to be safe.
