At St. Hilda's Church, Island Bay, the wedding took place recently of Kathleen Lucy, twin daughter of Mr. C. W. Goodman and the late Mrs. Goodman, to Alick Douglas, younger son of Mrs. M. Kohn and the late Mr. Kohn. The Rev. G. C. Blathwayt officiated.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a simple gown of pale cream satin and a tulle veil held in

position by a spray of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of arum lilies. Her sister, Miss May Goodman, was bridesmaid, wearing a frock of fawn sprig-1 ged organdie and -a fawn picture hat.. Her bouquet was, of pink roses and sweet peas. •'"'.■

Mr. J. Stoupe was best Mian.

The reception was held in the lounge of the Grand Hotel. Miss Mollie Goodman, twin sister of the bride, received the guests, wearing a white floral frock, with large blue hat. Mrs. Kohn, mother of the bridegroom, wore a naw blue ensemble.

Later the bride and bridegroom left for a tour of the South Island, the bride wearing a navy and white ensemble with navy accessories- and natural straw hat. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Kohn's future home will be in Christchurch.
