ESPERANTO CLUB PICNIC
The first of the fortnightly picnics organised by the Wellington Esperanto Club took place yesterday when a good muster of members took advantage of the glorious day to journey by rail and car to Plimmerton. The secretary, Mr. Anton Vogt, stated that he was pleased to see the interest taken in the outing, the purpose of which was to encourage conversation practice in the international auxiliary language. In the course of the day community sings took place at. intervals, the music being supplied by Mr. Henri W. Thorns on his guitar.
