DISTINGUISHED VISITOR

A distinguished arrival by the Awatea from Sydney this morning was Lord Balfour of Burleigh, a director of the National Bank of New Zealand, who is visiting New Zealand in connection with the bank's business. He flew from England to Australia, leaving Croydon on December 2. He proposes to spend a couple of months in New Zealand, and is looking forward with the keenest interest to viewing the attractions the Dominion has to offer.
