SOLDIER NURSEMAID
"The Army is all right, but it was a bit on the childish side for me at the time. They tried to make a nursemaid out of me," so declared Anthony Robert Wilson, aged 34, who was charged at Feltham, Middlesex, with being a deserter from the 2nd Battalion, Queen's Royal Regiment, since October 30, 1928. The Magistrate (Mr. T. Caley): "The Army might make a man of you." Wilson: "It is rather late to try." Mr. Caley: "You take my tip, and go back and do the best you can." Wilson: "I will have a go at'it." He was handed over to the military authorities.
