There was n full attendance ot members nnd in addition to the shooting an eniovahle musical evening was snent. Hfo members, and present active members will be present. Ine wind-up social and presentation of trophies will bo held on Pecember 12. and this. too. will form part of tho celebrations of the anniversary. P.W.M.C. LADIES' CLUB. The concluding nicht of tho 1938 season of the I'etone Working Men's Club Toadies Club took the form of a social evening. Among the guests were members of the various clubs, and tho following vicc-nrcsidents who journeyed from Wellington: Mr. A. V. 0. Wilson and Mrs. Wilson, Miss Harper, and Mr. MacDonald. After supper the patron, Mr. Iteesby, presented the trophies won during the season. Mrs. Corkhill sans two delightful songs which wero much appreciated. Mrs. Harriett was the accompanist and also played for tho dancing which followed :— Trophies were presented as follows:—A Grade Championship and Tisdall Curt, Mrs. Fuller; runner-up. Mrs. Emmott. H Grade Championship and Peat's Cup. Mrs. Smith; runnerun and Tisdall Cup, Miss M. Verrall. Mrs. Barlow's Cup (own start handicap), Mrs. Emmett. Mr. Jlawson's Bowl (highest score own start handicap), Mrs. T. Wales. Mr. Dawson's Cun. Mrs. Warner. Miss Harper's trophy (highest score in inter-club matches), Mrs. Fuller. Mr. U. Cossrave"s Cut) (most improved (Irst year shot), Mrs. Barlow, Miss M. Cunliffe's Cup (perseverance), Mrs. Henderson. Miss Harper's trophy (Ueenst learner). Mrs. I. Cosgrave. Mrs. Verrall's trophy (first new shot, to reach 00). Mrs. Dixon. Monthly competitions.—First: Mrs Warner (club trophy). 1; Mrs. J>. Cosgrave (club trophy). 2: Mrs. Vcrrsill (dull trophy). 3. Second: Mrs. Fuller (club trophy), 1: Mrs. Bat-low (club trophy). 2 : Mrs. Verrall (club trophy). 3. Third : Mrs. fimlifVo. (club trophy). 1; Mrs. Fuller (Mrs. May's trophy), 2: Mrs. Emmett. D. Cosgrave nnd Douglas.
