YOUNG PEOPLE ENTERTAINED

About 80 young people attended a sherry party which Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Gibbons gave at their home in Khandallah at the weekend for their son Gerald. Mrs. Gibbons wore an afternoon gown of navy blue ninon, and the rooms were decorated with masses of flowers. In the lounge Iceland poppies looked charming in the glow cast by orange-shaded standard lamps; and rhododendrons, blue delphiniums, and mauve and pink aquilegia were beautifully arranged in the hall and dining-room.
