Mrs. S. H. Craig and her youngest daughter, Sondra, returned to their home in Wellington yesterday by the Awatea, after having spent a two months' holiday in Sydney and Melbourne. Miss Kathleen Jones, Makirikiri, Wanganui, is a visitor to Wellington. Miss Edna Hatch is a passenger by the Awatea, which will leave Wellington tonight. She will make a six weeks' tour of Australia before returning home. Mrs. D. R. Welch and Miss P. Welch, Ngaruawahia, are visiting Masterton and Wellington. Mrs. Shillabeer and Mrs. Hird, Australia, who have been the guests of Mrs. Hester while in Wellington, are passengers On the Awatea which left today. Mrs. J. G. Petersen and Miss B. Petersen, Patea, are visiting Wellington, and return at the weekend accompanied by Miss Petersen. * j Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Bands, Lower Hutt, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. H. E.
