TROTTERS AGAINST PACERS
Sea Gift put up a track record for a trotter when she beat a strong field of pacers in 4min 26 l-ssec at Forbury Park on Saturday. Not many squaregaiters have competed successfully against the strapped brigade, some notable exceptions in and near the top class being Reta Peter, Whispering Willie, Peterwah, Escapade, Trampfast, Judga Hancock, and Wrackler. The last-named, early in his first change-, over to the trot, beat a field of pacers over two miles at an Addington Relief Meeting.
