(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

AUCKLAND, This Day.

Two men who escaped by jumping from a window to a roof, a distance of twenty feet, when two-up premises were raided in Swanson Street on Friday night, Nicholas Jack Logpur, 44, a picture framer, and Jack Marino, 38, a beauty parlour employee, appeared voluntarily and pleaded guilty at the Police Court this morning. Each was fined £2.

Logpur broke a leg in the jump but it was a wooden one.
