COMMERCE CONGRESS
PRESIDENT ARRIVES
Viscount Elibank, the president of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the British Empire, arrived in Wellington today, from Auckland. He was.accompanied by Lady Elibank.
On arrival at Thorndon Station, Lord and Lady Elibank were met by Captain Heber Percy, aide-de-camp to the Government-General, Lord Galway, and for the next three, days they will be the guests of the GovernorGeneral at Government House.
Mr. Norton Francis, president of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand, Mr. C. J. B. Norwood, president of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, Mr. J. T. Martin vice-president of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, Mr. A. O. Heany, secretary of the.New Zealand Associated Chambers of Commerce, and Mr. E. M. Bardsley, secretary of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, were also present at the station.
