RESUMPTION ANNOUNCED

In the House of Commons on July 39 the President ,f the Board of Trade, Mr. Walter Runciman, explained the reasons for which the negotiations for the resumption of Anglo-Italian trade following the lifting of sanctions had had V be suspended. The two Governments, however, did not altogether lose touch during the interval on ths question of the commercial agreement, and today the Board of Trade announced that arrangements had been made for the resumption of the negotiations regarding trade and payments, and delegates have proceeded to Roma for this purpose.
