REAR CARRIAGE TELESCOPED

Priests from Lourdes . administered first aid to those injured in a railway accident at Tarbes, in which it is reported that 14 were killed and 25 injured, including two priests. An express from Gourdes, carrying many pilgrims, halted on a curve owing to an electrical breakdown, and wag overtaken by a local train which telescoped the rear carriage.
