RESCUE FROM RIVER
AVIATORS WHO CRASHED
SYDNEY, September 23.
An Air Force aeroplane crashed into; the Hawkesbury River in the vicinity;' of Richmond Aerodrome today.
The occupants, Pilot Officers W. All*, shorn and G. Quinan, sank with tha' machine, but, despite minor injuries1 and severe shock, they were able to extricate themselves and rose to the surface. They were rescued by local farmers.
