position behind Rayon dOr in the Manawatu Trotting Cup, in which he ran 4min 29 3-ssec off 4min 42sec, after losing ground at the start. Inability to go away correctly ruined his chance several times. At the recent New Brighton Meeting Treasure Bond ran third to Lone Derby and Racketeer in the mile saddle event, and the race should have done him good.
