MUSICAL AFTERNOON
Y.M.C.A. BOYS'. DIVISION The lounge of the Y.M.C.A. presented a very pleasing appearance recently when a musical afternoon was held, the object being to raise funds for equipment for the use of .the boys. The president (Mrs. H. E. Brooker) welcomed the large gathering of members and friends, and thanked them for their interest in the work. The programme, which consisted of a pianoforte solo by Mrs. Lundius, songs by Mesdames Eckoff, Willis, and Bird, and Mr. J. Ha'nna, and a novelty instrumental item, by Mr. Routhwaite, was greatly enjoyed. The accompanists were Mesdames Shepherd,' Buddie, and Carey. , A competition was won by Mrs. Fyfe and Miss Mori, after which a delicious tea was served.
