Mrs. F. Wall (Martinborough) has been spending a few days in town.
Mr. and Mrs. Colin Clayton'(Karori) will occupy Mrs. W. Clayton's home in Woburri'Road, Lower Hutt, during her two months' absence in Australia. Mrs. W! Clayton, accompanied by Miss Cameron, will leave for Australia next week.
Mrs. Ronald Webster has left Remuera, Auckland, to take up her residence in Wellington. Mrs. Lilian. Fleck (Wellington) will return to New Zealand, via Australia, early in October from a tour overseas. Mrs. Fleck spent a good deal of her time in London and Wales with her son.
Miss N. W. Anderson, who returned this week to New Zealand by the Maunganui from a holiday spent in Rarotonga, is spending a few days with friends in Wellington before returning to Christchurch. ■ Mr. and Mrs. W. Fussell (Wellington) are visiting Mr. and Mrs. F. N. Fussell, Napier. Mrs. Scott Meale, \otio has been visiting Napier for the Meale-Barlow wedding, has returned to.Wellington.
' Mrs. F. W. Dawson (Wellington) was a passenger for the south last night. Mrs. Cory : Wright (Parnell, Auckland) is visiting her daughter-in-law, Mrs. S. Cory-Wright, Wellington. Mrs. G. H. Carter has left Auckland for Wellington, where she will in future, reside. 1

Miss Bina Addy, the Indian singer, is in Wellington.
The wedding of Miss Norah Haggitt, daughter of the Dean of Nelson, to Mr., Walter Thompson, son of the Vicar of Seasalter, Kent, will take place in the Anglican Cathedral of Hong Kong today, (states, the "Press"). , The reception will be held at the residence of! Superintendent and Mrs. King, Police Headquarters. ' - ' 'Miss Huntingdon', who recently gave an address on the,'; co-operative movement, is assistant secretary of the New Zealand Co-operative Alliance. Mrs. W. Adams (Blenheim) is visiting Wellington. Miss K. Newton (London) is a guest at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mrs. F. R. Henderson (Wairba), Mrs. W. H. Fair weather (Tauranga), and Mrs. J. Thompson (New Plymouth) are staying at the Empire Hotel. Mrs. Alex Lawson, Percival Street, who left for Auckland, by the Awatea, returned home this morning.
