BRITISH SAILORS' SOCIETY
A most enjoyable concert-was given recently at the rooms of the British Sailors' Society to a large and most, enthusiastic audience .' of seamen and friends. The programme was'arranged •by 1 Mrs. O'Sullivan, and-consisted of songs, elocutionary numbers,, and items by .the Continental Harmonica Band, under the managership of Mr. C. T. Jupp. A short community sing >was much enjoyed by "the men. Items were contributed by Misses Mary and Teresa OiSullivan, Messrs. M. Robinson, R. McNcilly, E. Wright, H.. Jenkins, ,R. Dunn. C. Jupp, W. McKillop. E.- Edmonds, B. Lambert. D. Pettit, M.' Doyle, and Master Paul O'Sullivan. At "the conclusion of the entertainment a vote of thanks was carried with acclamation, supper was served by the visitors, and the evening brought to a close with the National Anthem. Mrs. O'Sullivan was the accompanist.
