FRENCH STRIKE WORKERS RUN FACTORY THEMSELVES LONDON, September 17. The "Daily Telegraph's" Paris correspondent reports that stay-in strikers at a Lyons factory, after nominating a "committee of direction," started running the factory themselves. Employers have always feared this development, which is unprecedented in the history of the strike movement in France. WAGES INCREASED LILLE STRIKERS TO RESUME (Received September 18, 10 a.m.) PARIS, September 17. The Minister of the Interior, M. Salengro, announced that "an agreement has been reached ending the Lille strike. It provides ; for a 6 per cent, increase in the wages of 35,000 textile workers, who are to return to work immediately.
