HOW TO END STRIKE
ARABS CONSIDERING LOCAL MEETINGS BEING HELD

The Jerusalem correspondent of "The Times" says that local meetings are being held in Palestine today to consider how to end the strike and the campaign of violence, which the Higher Arab Committee feel 3 unable to do without the Arabs' consent.
The Arabs are also making comparisons between France's treatment of Syria and Britain's treatment of Palestine. The Higher Arab Committee even sent a message congratulating the Syrian delegation to Paris on securing a new treaty, and lauding France as a friend of oppressed peoples.
