CABLE CAR EMPLOYEES Wages and conditions of work for employees of the Kelburne and Karori Tramway Co., Ltd., were the subject of an industrial dispute heard before the Conciliation Commissioner. (Mr. M. J. Reardon) today. The employees (applicants) were represented by Messrs. W. Sant, C. S. Morton, and W. n; BrOadley, and the employers by Messrs. W. J. Mountjoy (advocate), C. Cox, and J. Darling. A 40-hour week was agreed upon, with shifts of eight hours per day from |Mondon to Saturday inclusive. Work done on Sunday is to be paid for in accordance with the overtime clause.
