TABLE TENNIS
WELLINGTON V. AUCKLAND ■ The sole selector (Mr. T. S. Williams) has selected the following players to represent Wellington for the annual match against Auckland at St. Paul's Schoolroom on Monday next:— Women: Misses K. Tustin (Taita) and B. Strang (Railway Worshops). Men: C. Burke (Economic), E. Boniface (Wellington), G. Bell (Onslow). D. Hayvice (Wellington), H. Pyle (Customs), and K. Longmore (Onslow). -The Auckland team is as follows: Women: Miss I. Dove (New Zealand champion) and Miss A. Wilkinson. Men: J. Munns, H. Boys, K. Cantlay, P. Paton (New Zealand champion), E. Cheal (ex-New Zealand champion), and A. Stowell. , H.Boys and K. Cantlay are newcomers to the representative team, -but are reported to play magnificent table tennis in the correct table tennis style, and some great battles are- expected when they meet the Wellington representatives. INTER-CLUB COMPETITION In the final of the A grade.inter-club table tennis competition, Wellington beat Economic by 13 games to 7.
