100 SHELLS A MINUTE MANUFACTURE IN BRITAIN (Received September 18, 2 pjn.) LONDON, September 17. A British firm has acquired a licence to manufacture an American invention, a 1.457-inch cannon firing 100 onepound explosive shells a minute. If is expected that it will revolutionise aerial fighting.
