REPUBLICAN GAINS
ELECTIONS IN MAINE
NEW YORK, September 15. The final results in the Maine elections show that the Republicans cap* tured three seats, also the Governor* ship and a Federal Senatorship. The fact that Maine is normally Republican makes the election not an accurate barometer for the national elections in November.
