Two boxing contests were staged by the revived Wanganui Boxing Association last night. In the main bout Joe Hall (Australia) gained a decision on points over Clarrie Rayner (Blenheim; at the end of fifteen rounds. B. Downs (Wanganui) secured a technical knock-out decision over J. Wilson (Marton) in the third of a scheduled eight-round bout.
