FROM PICTURES TO BOOKS.
Richard Boleslawski, author and motion-picture director, has started on his third book, "Escape of a Lancer," writing in whatever spare moments he can find while directing "The Garden of Allah," which co-stars Marlene Dietrich and Charles Boyer. "Escape of a Lancer" will be the third volume in the trilogy which began with "Way of a Lancer" and continued with "Lances Down." Publication of the new book has been postponed four times, and no new date for its appearance will be set until "The Garden of Allah" is completed. Boleslawski then plans to leave Hollywood for several weeks to finish the book.
