WOMAN'S DEATH IN BOMB

EXPLOSION

MELBOURNE, September 15. An open finding was recorded by the Coroner at the inquiry into the death of Mrs. Aimee Milne, victim of the bomb explosion which wrecked _the home of Plain Clothes Constable Milne at Geelong on July 13.

When a bomb was thrown through the window of Constable Mime's home at Geelong at 3 a.m. on July 13, Mrs. Milne was blown to pieces and her husband seriously hurt. The front of the house was wrecked. Two children who were asleep in a back room luckily escaped. Constable Milne who was formerly a well-known member of the Melbourine criminal investigation branch, had previously been threatened by underworld enemies.
