DUTCH FAIR.

An enjoyable musical, entertainment was provided last night at the Wellington City Mission annual fair at the Town Hall. The General Motors Concert Party rendered a. number of special selections, unique in respect to some of the instruments of the band, such as mouth organs, steel guitars, etc., with striking drum effects. .The band of the Ist Battalion the Wellington Regiment conti-ibuted acceptable items.

The stalls have been ■ replenished with fresh stocks, and many worthwhile prizes have been added to the mystery parcels, including doublu dress-circle theatre tickets.

This afternoon was devoted principally to the baby show, which naturally attracted much interest. Mrs. McVicar was in charge of the show. The entertainment, tonight. will be provided by the Seatoun Pierrot Troupe and the Boys' Institute Band: Tomorrow from 12 noon to 2 p.m. a jumble sale will be conducted. Miss Vida McLean, of the Plunket Society, is to give a talk on "Mot.hercraft," and the evening's programme will, be supplied by , Herbert l<\ Wood's concert party and the Port Nicholson Silver Band. The management state that gifts of articles for the jumble .sale tomorrow will be welcomed at the Town Hall. . . .
