TWO BURGLARIES
(Special to the "Evening Post.")
MASTEKTON, This Day.
Two burglaries occurred in Masterton on Monday night. A window at the Mastjsrton County Council's office was forced open and the intruder then paid attention to the county clerk's desk, a drawer of- which ' was also forced. From this he'e.xtracted a sum of about £3, collected by the clerk, Mr. J. C. D. Mackley. from Rugby players. The second place broken into was the Masterton Hosiery Mills, in Lincoln Road. In this case the back door was forced open but nothing appears to have been taken..
