HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
The House of Representatives met at 2.30 p.m. today. .' ! Mr. R. A. Wright (Independent, Wellington Suburbs) gave notice to ask the Prime Minister whether any orders for the purchase and supply of plant and equipment required by the Government for its house-building scheme had been placed or were being placed with any person or firm without public tenders being first called therefor. If so, would he give the name or names of the.person or firm obtaining such orders, and whether the person or firm obtaining the order or orders represented a business firm in another country.
