HUME PIPE YEAR
Hume Pipe Company (Australia), Ltd .reports a net profit of £34,005 for the year ended June 30, compared with £23,050 the previous year and £5013 for 1933-34. The dividend of 5 per cent, is compared with 4 per cent, for the previous year. A sum of £10,000 has been transferred to reserve, and £11,849 is carried forward, against £12,843 brought forward. The directors report improvement in business maintained throughout the year. New Zealand figures show a considerable improvement and the increased profits were spread over the whole field of the company's activities.
