CATHOLIC SEAMEN'S INSTITUTE

A very pleasant evening was spent recently at the A.M.I.C. rooms, Vivian Street, when members of the Star of the Sea Guild entertained visiting seamen from the ships in port. About sixty men were present, and all thoroughly enjoyed the programme .of music and dancing. Among those contributing items were Miss1 Valeric Ashenden, who sang charmingly; Miss June King,- who gave a clever tap dance, and Miss Mary Molloy and little Paul O'Sullivan,- who caused great amusement with . their humorous recitations and songs. Miss N. Delaney, assisted by Mr. Jones, or the Surrey, played the music for dancing. The evening closed with the singing of the National Anthem. „
