CANADA AND RUSSIA
TRADE RELATIONS RESTORED
MONTREAL, September 11.'• The Prime Minister, Mr. Mackenzie King, today announced the restoration of friendly trade relations between i Canada and Soviet Russia.' The em-1 bargo effected by the Bennett Govern-1 ment in 1931 against Russian coal, wood pulp, lumber, and other products has been lifted, while it is understood Mos- ■ cow has lifted the counter-embargo against Canadian products. The Minister of Trade and Commerce, Mr. V/. D. Euler. who recently visited Russia, will soon outline the trade deal made "with the Soviet.
