CAVERHILL—McKAIN.

A wedding of considerable interest took place at Knox Church, Masterton, on Saturday evening,. when Miss Florence Amelia McKain, only daughter of Mrs. C. K. McLaren, • "Arohunui," Hinakura, and the late Mr. A. McKain, Lower Hutt, was,married to Mr. Robert Francis Gaverhiil, only son.of Mrs. C. R. Caverhill and the late Mrs. Caverhill, of Wairarapa. The Rev. J.,Davis officiated.

The bride, who was escorted by her step-father, Mr. C. X.. McLaren, was in • a shell-pink chiffon velvet; frock, cut on classical lines, with■ a- cowled neckline and a trained - skirt Her long pale^pink tulle veil was worn well off the face, and she carried a sheaf of freesias, pink carnations, and jmaidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were the Misses Lila Williams and Margaret Caverhill (sister of the bridegroom). They were-dressed alike in frocks of gold serge,, cut on the same lines as the bride's frock, and wore headdresses of pink and-gold flowers. Peter McLaren was page boy, and was dressed in a beige silk blouse, and brown corduroy trousers. -

Mr. G. London. Lower Hutt was best man, and Mr. B, Banks, Wellington, was groomsman. Messrs.- B. Woodhouse and L Robertson acted as iishers.
