BUSY TIME AT DUNEDIN

The Minister of Education and Health (the Hon. P. Fraser) spent a full day in Dunedin today with a round of visits to educational institutions^ and he also met members of the Otago' Harbour Board in his capacity as Min-, ister of Marine. i .In the morning he visited several schools, and after.meeting the Harbour Board, spent two hours ia receiving deputations. In the evening he met the Dominion School Committees' Federation and later had a private discussion with members of the Education Board, after which he attended, along with the Director of Education (Mr. N. T. Lambourne), a meeting of the Otago branch of the New Zealand Educational Institute.

Tomorrow morning the Minister will visit the Otago Girls' High School, the Otago Boys' High School, King's High School, the Kaikorai School, and the home science department of the university. In his capacity as Minister in charge of the Police Force, Mr. Fraser will pay a visit of inspection to the police station in the afternoon and will later leave for Oamaru. He will visit Timaru and Ashburton before returning to Wellington on Saturday evening.
