TRIBUTES TO ORGANIST

At the conclusion of last Sunday evening's service, the church officers and congregation of St. Mark's Anglican Church paid a tribute to Mr. Laurence F. Watkins on his completion of 40 years' service as organist and choirmaster. The vicar, the Rev. N. F. E. Robertshawe, presented Mr. Watkins with several tokens of the high regard in which he is held.

Mr. W. J. Gaudin, on behalf of the vestry, Mr. W. Ferguson, on behalf of the choir, and Mr. L.'McKenzie, for the congregation, expressed their appreciation of Mr. Watkins's services.

In reply, Mr. Watkins said he had always enjoyed his association with the work of the church, and he thanked his many friends for the manner in which they had shown their appreciation of his services.
