AIR FORCE BADGES

APPROVAL OF DESIGNS

LONDON, July 13.

It is understood that the King, who is now approving the heraldic badges of the Royal Air Force squadrons, will shortly examine badges submitted front squadrons in the Australian and other Dominion Air Forces. The designs, which will be registered at the College of Arms and placed iri the keeping cf the Chester Herald, are intended to stimulate tradition, corresponding with, that of army regiments both here and in the Dominions. Squadrons created in war time will receive preference' in the approval of badges, which will be reproduced on machines.
