The Pretoria correspondent of the' "'Daily Mail" says (hat ihc Minister of Defence. Mr. 0. Pirow, announced thai Cape Town harbour would bo protected not only against cruiser but also battleship attack, a scheme having been evolved with the Imperial Defence Committee which would safeguard the harbour at a reasonable cost for from 15 to 30 years* ,j Mr. Pirow is to discuss the scheme with "Cabinet before publishing details. - - '
