SALES OF SECTIONS
(To the Editor.}
Sir, —The recently published offer by the State Advances Corporation to find purchasers for section venders free of charge, calls for protest. For any State-owned enterprise to offer costfree service to a section, at the expense of the general public, is wrong, and, further, when such action threatens to deprive licensed land agents of their means of livelihood for which they contribute much revenue to the State, then the time has arrived when no private .business or individual can feel safe from interference. Surely the Government does not desire to pursue a policy compelling everyone either to become a State employee or go out of existence in this democracy.— I am, etc.,
DISILLUSIONED.
