. a lie Acting Secretary of the Navy Admiral Slandley, announced recently in London that the United States navy was ready to construct immediately a floating dock at Pearl Harbour, Hawaii, to cost £2,000,000 The dock will be 1016 ft long, and 75ft from top to keel. Tenders will be invited by the Navy Department shortly.
