POLICE TRANSFERS
THE PETONE STATION
The transfer of Senior-Sergeant G. Sivyer, who is stationed at Petone and has charge of the Hutt Valley police, to take change of the Hastings police station, was announced during the weekend. Mr. Sivyer came to Petone two years ago from Taumarunui and during his stay at Petone has been a most popular officer both with members of the force and the public. He expects to leave within a fortnight. .
Senior-Sergeant H. C. Wade, of Gisborne. will succeed Senior-Sergeant Sivyer at Petone.
