KARORI HORTICULTURISTS
.The annual report of the Karori Horticultural Society,, to be presented to tomorrow's meeting, remarks that on the whole the season has been a successful one, although the attendance at some shows was not as good as might have been expected. The membership of the society is now 468, an increase of 50 on the previous year's figures. The finances show a credit balance. That it is smaller than last year's is due- to expenditure on plant and needful repairs to staging. This expenditure was necessary, the report adds, and will recur next year.
