A special meeting yesterday of the Otago branch.of the Railway., Officers" Institute unanimously passed the following motions:— : : ' " ' •• ■
"That this branch dissociates itself from the 0.8. U. movement." .
"That' until such time as Conference approves or otherwise ';ol the 0.8. U. movement and defirfitely decides fcr or against the project, this branch refrains from taking action or part in any meeting held for that purpose, and that any action taken by any members be unofficial and unrecognised."
TIIORNDON SCHOOL EX-PUPILS' ASSOCIATION. :
Ex-pupils of the Tfiornaon School are reminded of the card 'evening to be held at the Rechabite Hall, 125 Willis Street, on Wednesday next at 8 p m Supper .will be served by the ladies of the executive. : ■•■■'' :- -
