The .success, of the recent Young Kni'inurs' Week at Masterton was a personal triumph for Mr. Freeman and his work and ability were praised vvarmly by the Minister of Agriculture, Departmental officials, and the boys attending the camp. The headquarters of the federation, which at present are located in Dunedin, are to be transferred to Wellington. Mr Freeman will replace Mr. S. D. Blomfield, Dunedin, who has held the position of general secretary of the federation for several years. When he visited Masterton during the recent Young Farmers' Week, the Hon. W. Lee Martin said that the Government was so impressed with the potential value of the movement that it had decided to place at the disposal of the federation an official of the Department of Agriculture as a full-time organising secretary.
