TIARAS AND OPERA BAGS
Tiaras, which were rarely, to be seen earlier in the opera season, have been worn more frequently lately (states-the London "Daily Telegraph"). Four diamond tiaras were noted at a performance of "Tosca," and two.pearl coronets besides a number of wide diamond bands iri the hair were conspicuous at "Aida." ■
Diamond clips and brooches to fasten back a strand of hair are frequent, and, most women-at the opera wear some ornament in the hair, a fashion revival that came in this season. Real flowers for a headdress are considered more appropriate for young girls. ; Large lame or velvet criishable evening bags, which hold opera glasses, cigarette case, and' make-up requisites, are preferred this year to the small handbags of other seasons at Covent' Oarden. ]
